Delivery, Warranty & Returns


warranty

Our tents are built to a very high standard and are regularly tested for manufacturing quality and durability.

Our tents have a 1-year warranty against manufacturer defects in the canvas and any faulty workmanship. Note that this warranty does not extend to the poles or zippers as these are commonly misused.

It should be clear that your consumer legal rights may still apply after the warranty expires.


delivery

Regular deliveries are made during working days, Monday - Friday between 08:00 and 20:00 (except during public holidays).

We aim to deliver within 48 hours (Monday - Fridayof your order being placed. Though during peak season this can at times be within 72 hours. We will contact you by email or telephone if delivery is likely to be delayed beyond 7 days (unless otherwise stated on our website), giving you the option to cancel your order.

Please note: Firepits, Grills and Wok sets are hand made to order in the UK and delivery may take up to 8 days.

Delivery to mainland UK is free of charge.

Please contact us for delivery outside of this area to receive a shipping quote.


returns

You can cancel your contract at any time up to 14 working days after the day of delivery. To do this, please e-mail us in the first instance at admin@northernstartepees.co.uk Please include any order information and the delivery postcode.

You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve our service


cancelled orders

If you cancel, you must return the goods to us at your own expense. You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately and in original packaging to protect against damage. If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection.

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will exercise our right to charge you for the reduction in value. Similarly, we will charge you for the reduction in value of any used goods.

For larger, heavier items we may seek to recover some or all of the outgoing shipping costs also.

This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights.


faulty goods

If there is a problem with the goods, please contact us. We will deal with the matter in accordance with your legal rights. To do this, please e-mail us in the first instance at admin@northernstartepees.co.uk Please include your delivery information and a description of the fault.

Once we have been notified of a faulty item, we may request photographic images of the fault. It may also be necessary for us to collect the goods for further assessment or return.

If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will exercise our right to charge you for the reduction in value.
